It’s a Families Affair

National Committee for the Prevention of Alcoholism and Drug Dependency
(NCPADD) St. Lucia is pleased to have launched our “Families Affair” initiative in
the communities of Monchy, Babonneau and Ti Rocher, Micoud. The initiative was a
community event aimed at promoting family togetherness, healthy living and an
awareness of the harmfulness of substance abuse.
NCPADD understands the significance of the family as the foundation of our society
and therefore places great value in the need to strengthen family ties and build
resilient communities as a holistic approach towards demand reduction, behavioral
management and crime deterrence.
The objectives of the initiative are
 Family Togetherness: Foster stronger family bonds by providing an inclusive
and engaging environment for families to spend quality time together.
 Healthy Living: Promote physical activity and healthy lifestyle choices
through a variety of recreational activities and sports. 

NCPADD recognizes that it takes a “village” to attain the objectives of strengthening prevention and expresses sincere gratitude and appreciation to all who supported, sponsored, promoted, facilitated and participated in our Families Affair events. Special thank you to and recognition of:
