Julien Alfred gained Saint Lucia’s first-ever global Gold Medal after winning 60m dash

Julien Alfred won gold in the women's 60 metres at the 2024 World Athletics Indoor Championships in Glasgow, with a world leading time of 6.98 seconds.[It was Saint Lucia's first ever World Athletics Indoor Championship medal.
