I have been in a relationship with my 1st love, whom I have known for more than 20 yrs, since we were kids. From the year 2019 until now, I have been in a serious relationship with him, but the thing is, I live abroad. Before the pandemic, I would make it my duty to come to St.Lucia at least once every month or two, to spend time with him. With all the protocoles and restrictions, I have not been able to travel like i used to. In February of this year he came out and told me that he had made a MISTAKE and there is a possibility that a woman is prégnant for him. This young lady is said to have her boyfriend that she lives with and this gentleman has no kids of his own but she has a young son whom she had with her sister's boyfriend.
She has not said a word to this man about he not being the father to her un born baby girl, so he thinks this child is his.
After discovering all of this, I was left in total shock. My partner's words to me were, it was a mistake, a fling and that he had used a condom.
This young lady had no intentions of telling her man the truth on the situation.
My so called partner says that if when the child is born the woman tells him it's his child he will take his responsibilty towards the child. The 3 individuals live in the same community, the southwestern side of the island. This is a Real mix up, I dont see my place and VALUE with this man anymore. What are you'll views on the situation?
