Levern Spencer arrived safely in Saint Lucia

Saint Lucian high jumper, Levern Spencer arrived safely in Saint Lucia at approximately 2 pm Thursday, April 19, 2018, to a hero’s welcome celebration.
Spencer struck gold in the high jump at the XXI Commonwealth Games which was held in Australia, making history.
Spencer, who prior to this year’s Commonwealth Games, was a two-time bronze-medalist at the event, leapt 1.95m this time around to clinch the gold for Saint Lucia according to a source.
Spencer was greeted by Government officials, members of the sporting fraternity and other officials at the Hewanorra International Airport.
