Man and Woman arrested for unlawful possession of firearm and ammunition

On Thursday, March 2, 2023, about 5:30 a.m., officers attached to the Gros Islet Operations Team and Special Services Unit conducted an operation in Bocage, Castries.

During the operation, a search was executed on the premises occupied by a twenty-eight (28) year-old male and, a forty-one (41) year-old female of Bocage, Castries, which resulted in the recovery of one (1) 9mm Luger pistol and one (1) round of ammunition.

Both individuals were arrested and escorted to the Rodney Bay Police Station, where they remain in custody as charges are expected to be laid shortly.
