Man, dead after being struck by a vehicle

Police are investigating the circumstances surround a fatal accident which occurred in Anse La Verdure on Monday afternoon at about 1:30 pm.

The deceased is identified as Valence Alexander, resident of Ravine Chabot, Castries.

Valence was employed by the Ministry of Infrastructure.

He was fixing potholes when the vehicle struck him.

This is the 5th fatal accident so far, this year.
