Man dead after being struck by vehicle in Laborie

Police are investigating a deadly accident which occurred on the Laborie highway on Saturday night at about 10:30 pm.

According to reports, a male individual was struck while he was attempting to cross the road.

The deceased is identified as 40-year-old Kenny Florent, a resident of Vieux Fort. When the emergency officials arrived they found Kenny  lying unresponsive on the ground, showing obvious signs of death.
