Man leaves US$5M to pet dog

Turns out being man’s best friend has its benefits.A border collie called Lulu was recently left US$5 million after its owner died.

The eight-year-old pet’s owner, Bill Dorris, was a successful businessman in Nashville, Tennessee who passed away in late 2020, leaving Lulu the substantial sum in his will.

Dorris left the dog in the care of his friend Martha Burton, who will be reimbursed for Lulu’s monthly expenses.
