Man shot dead in Babonneau

27 year old Shaquille Auguste, alias ‘Smiley’.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a deadly shooting which occurred in Paix Bouche, Babonneau on Friday night at about 10:20 pm.

The deceased is identified as 27 year old Shaquille Auguste, alias ‘Smiley’.

Reports are that ‘Smiley’ was shot multiple times in a drive-by shooting.

He was transported to the OKEU hospital where he died Saturday morning.

A post-mortem examination has been scheduled for a subsequent date.
