Man shot dead in Vieux Fort

Police are investigating a fatal shooting incident which occurred during a funeral service near Clarke Street, Vieux Fort on Thursday afternoon.

According to reports, rival gangs attacked each other in a shootout and as a result, a male individual was shot and killed.

Residence in the area heard multiple gunshots ringing in the air.

Several photos and videos were posted on social media showing the showing the lifeless body of a male individual in a drain. Another showing people running away for their lives.
