Man shot multiple times in Babonneau

Police are investigating a shooting incident which occurred in Fond Assau, Babonneau on Tuesday morning at about 7:45 am. According to reports, a male individual sustained gunshot injuries after several gunshots were fired in his direction.

The male individual was transferred  an ambulance where emergency medical care was provided and the he was transported to a medical facility in stable condition.

Emergency official found him with several penetrating wounds. Residence in the area heard about 20 gunshots. No further details.
