Man shot in Gros Islet

On Tuesday February 28, emergency personnel at the Babonneau Fire
Station responded to an alleged shooting incident at Caye Mange in
Monchy at approximately 7:55 p.m.

The responding officers found a young male individual seated on the
roadside complaining of pain to one of his legs. Upon examination of his
body, two penetrating wounds were found. Emergency medical care was
provided and the patient was transported to the OKEU Hospital in a stable
condition.
