Man shot in Vieux Fort

Police are investigating a shooting incident which occurred in Cedar Heights, Vieux Fort on Thursday morning at about 5am.

According to reports, a male individual got off a vehicle and shot the victim while he was walking. The shooter got back to the vehicle and then fled the scene.

The victim was transported to the St Judes hospital via private vehicle to nurse his gunshot injuries.
