Minister of Tourism welcome the return of Air Canada

Air Canada has resumed service to Destination Saint Lucia after more than a year, signaling the reopening of another key tourism source market.
The turnaround flight arrived just about 2:00 p.m. on Sunday October 3rd bringing a combined total of 51 returning nationals and visitors to the destination.
In commemorating the return of service, I was joined by the Chairman of the Board at the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA)- Mr. Thaddeus Antoine, staff of the Public Relations, Sales, and Marketing Departments of the SLTA, Air Canada and the Saint Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority (SLASPA) and President of the SLHTA- Mr. Paul Collymore.
In the weeks ahead the Destination will see an increase in service with Air Canada and the reintroduction of service with Sunwing and Westjet.
