Miss Octavie Augustin Marks 111 Years of Captivating Life's Symphony"

On Monday 14th August Miss Octavie Augustin aka Titi , celebrated her 111th birthday with her family and members of her community.

Miss Augustin was born 14th August 1912 in the community of Mongouge Choiseul. She spent the day with her family with a celebration of life ceremony as well as a mass which was held at the community church.

After a interview with Miss Alcee ( Her Adopted Daughter) She Stated, " Her Long life is a contribution of Genetics , Eating the right foods and also keeping the faith of god. A lot of my family member have been 100 years old but she is the oldest.  However she  is not as mobile as before cause of an incident when she was 100 which caused her  to amputate her foot.  She still likes to dress up with different dresses an ear rings to  make sure she looks nice. She is also a very orderly person making sure everything is done properly. When we have to give her a bath we have to do it in a specific way or she will not be clean to her liking "
