Missile attack on police officers in Barons drive  Soufriere

Police were investigating a report that a bar and its patrons were violating  covid-19 protocols.

Upon arrival police saw carnival like activities going on. After officers came from the bar, some individuals began throwing missiles at the police damaging the police vehicle.

The police called for backup but they had the situation under control by the time backup arrived. A video posted on social media police in riot gear.

The individuals who throw the missiles are expected to be charged when the perpetrators are identified.
