A response was made from the Fire Service Headquarters to Morne D’or in Jacmel, for a motor vehicular collision involving a motorcycle, on Saturday May 25 at approximately 3:00 a.m. The arriving personnel found an individual who was identified as the rider of the motorcycle, with severe trauma to his body. A rapid assessment revealed that the patient was void of all vital signs. Emergency medical care
was immediately initiated and he was immobilized on a spine board and provided rapid emergency transportation to a medical facility. There, he was pronounced dead by medical personnel.
Three other persons who were in the other vehicle all refused medical attention and subsequently signed release forms.
