multiple vehicle collision at Union,Castries resulting to two persons sustaining multiple injuries

At approximately 7:55 a.m. on Tuesday, October 26, personnel at the Babonneau Fire Station were informed of a multiple vehicle collision at Union, in Castries. It was reported that four vehicles were involved in the incident.

With a prompt response and assistance from the Gros Islet Fire Station, the officers attended to two persons who were involved in the incident, and required assistance. The first, was a female in her mid-twenties complaining of head pain. The patient who was the sole occupant of her vehicle, sustained a laceration to her head.

The second, was a male in his early thirties, who was also the sole occupant of his vehicle, complained of generalized body pain. Both individuals were transferred to the ambulance, and rapid emergency transportation was provided to the OKEU Hospital. The patients remained in a stable condition en route and were handed over to medical personnel for further treatment.
