Northern Division Strikes Gold Again with Yet Another Successful Operation

On Tuesday, September 26, 2023, Officers from the Northern Division demonstrated their unwavering commitment to public safety by actively participating in a highly coordinated joint operation. This operation involved the execution of search warrants in Reduit, Gros-Islet, and Bocage, Castries. These proactive measures are
part of an ongoing effort to combat crime effectively and ensure the well-being of our community.
During the operation, a search warrant was executed on the premises of thirty-four [34] year-old Eyan Williams, also known as Peanut, of Reduit, Gros-Islet.

The search resulted in the discovery and seizure of the following items:
 One bulletproof vest.
 One pair of handcuffs.
 A quantity of green plant-like material.
 One air rifle.

In the course of the raid, Eyan Williams was accompanied by his brother, thirty-one [31[year-old, Riam Williams, also of Reduit, Gros Islet. The brothers were arrested for Possession of Firearm without a valid licence. A search warrant executed on the premises of thirty year-old [30] Kerrigan Magloire alias Coolie of Bocage, Castries led to the discovery one [1] .40 calibre pistol and two [2] .40 rounds of ammunition. Kerrigan Magloire was arrested for Possession of Firearm and Ammunition without a Valid Licence. Eyan and Riam Williams were charged for the offences of Possession of Firearm without a valid licence. The duo were presented before the First District Court,
where bail was granted in the sum of fifteen thousand [XCD15000.00] dollars, cash or suitable surety respectively.

 

Kerrigan Magloire was also charged for Possession of Firearm, and Possession of Ammunition without a valid licence. He was taken before the First District Court for bail, which was set at:

 Ten thousand [XCD10000.00] dollars, cash or suitable surety for Possession of
Firearm;
 Five thousand [XCD5000.00] dollars, cash or suitable surety, for Possession of
Ammunition.
