Northern Zone Under 11 Football Competition

St Lucia Sports Online - The Northern Zone Under 11 Football Competition kicked off at the SAB Playing Facility on Saturday 31stMarch 2019 from 10.00 am. Following a colorful march past of the eleven participating Club Teams and a brief opening ceremony four matches were played.
Eleven Clubs are participating in this year’s tournament namely,
- Monchy – Gros Islet League
- Northern United
- GMC United
- New Generation FC – Babonneau
- Lancers FC – Castries Central
- VSADC
- FC Pioneers
- Valley Soccer
- B1 FC – Marchand
- Big Players
- Flames
In the opening game Valley Soccer defeated GMC United 3 – 0, with goals by Alex Devaux Shiloh John and an own goal.New Generation had no answer to Northern’s onslaught going down 5 – 0. Tralan Henry scored a brace, while there was one each by Jordan Peter, Thierry Morille and Justice GermaineB1 FC went down to VSADC 4 – 1. Scoring for VSADC were Kyle Noel, Armani Lesmond and Ozer Cherubin, with the other being an own goal. Shaquan John scored B1FC lone goal.The final match saw Pioneers trouncing Monchy FC 5 – 2. Cortrell Francois registered the tournament’s first beaver trick with Jeanquan James adding the other. Nahum Morille and Joshua Norley scored for Monchy FC.
Games continue in the SLFA Inc. Northern Zone Under 11 tournament on Saturday 6th April 2019 at the SAB Sporting Facility.
