Over 500 Runners to Compete in 2024 Inter-District Primary and Secondary Schools Road Races in Vieux Fort

Approximately 128 primary and 400 secondary school runners are expected to participate in their respective events as the Ministry of Youth Development and Sports prepare for this year's Inter-District Primary and Inter-Secondary schools road races.
These races, part of the 2024 School Sports Program, are scheduled for December 4 and 6, 2024 respectively beginning at 9:30 AM.
Both races will be held along the La Resource Highway and will conclude at the Saint Jude Hospital (George Odlum Stadium) in Vieux Fort.
Coaches Cuthbert Modeste and Michael Biscette marked the route for the races on Wednesday November 11 2024 accompanied by officials from the Ministry.
Supporters are encouraged to cheer on the athletes but will not be allowed to travel along the route with participants. Event highlights will be provided on the day of the races.
