Patient found hanging at the respiratory hospital

A patient was found hanging at the respiratory hospital on Wednesday  morning.

Medical Director, Dr. Alisha Eugene-Forde, said in a statement that the discovery was made today, April 14, 2021, within one of the wards at the facility.

She continues to say “This 54-year-old patient was admitted on April 12 at around 9 o’clock. We last saw him alive at around 3:00 am this morning. We noticed that he had passed away or he was hanging; his body was hanging at around 5:30, minutes to 6:00 this morning,”.

An investigation has been launched after a male patient was found hanging.

The medical director says, “We want the public to know that we continue to work together to ensure that the patients that come to the hospital receive the best care that we have available".
