Prime Minister Hon. Philip J. Pierre has secured Parliament's approval to allocate XCD 5.4 million to refurbish and repair schools ahead of the commencement of the new 2023/24 academic year in September.

To ensure the cost of production and manufacturing remain low and to keep retail prices of locally produced goods affordable, the Prime Minister has exempted Saint Lucia's manufacturing sector from the Health and Citizen Security Levy.
