Police arrests two individuals, firearm and ammunition seized

On Thursday, November 2, 2023, the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force conducted a highly successful joint operation in multiple communities within the Central Division. This operation, aimed at maintaining public safety, saw the execution of five (5) Search Warrants and resulted in the apprehension of two (2) individuals.

A search of a private residence in Millet, Anse La Raye, led to a significant discovery and the subsequent seizure of seventeen (17) rounds of .22 calibre ammunition, one (1) round of .40 calibre ammunition, and one (1) round of 12-gauge ammunition. Meanwhile, a search of an abandoned structure in Bocage, Castries, yielded the discovery and seizure of a Glock handgun and its accompanying magazine.

The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force is diligently pursuing investigations into these matters.
