Prime Minister attends second Caribbean Heads of Government meeting on Climate Change and the Environment

Prime Minister of Saint Lucia and CARICOM Lead Head on Climate Change, Hon. Philip J. Pierre, travels to Grenada for the 2nd Caribbean Heads of Government meeting on Climate Change and the Environment.

Saint Lucia and CARICOM government leaders will convene over two days from September 28 to September 29, 2023, to forge a more cohesive strategy and action plan as a regional bloc in furtherance of preparations for COP 28, scheduled for November and taking place in Dubai, UAE.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Tourism, Investment, Creative Industries, Culture and Information, Hon. Dr. Ernest Hilaire, will act as Prime Minister until September 30, 2023.
