Probe Launched into Bagatelle Homicide

On Sunday, June 30, 2024, at about 3:20 pm, the Marchand Police Station responded to a report of
a shooting that occurred in Bagatelle, Castries, resulting in one male sustaining a fatal injury.
Officers proceeded to the scene, where they observed an unresponsive male lying motionless with
an apparent gunshot wound. Personnel from the Saint Lucia Fire Service, who were also present,
rendered aid to the victim. The victim was subsequently declared deceased at the scene by a
medical practitioner.

The deceased was later identified as Kevin Dupre, alias “Bim Bim,” age thirty-one (31), of
Bagatelle, Castries. The Major Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation into this homicide.
The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force is pleading with persons with information regarding this
homicide to contact the Major Crimes Unit at 456-3754 or the Marchand Police Station at 456-
