Progress update on St Jude hospital project

In November 2019, work officially commenced on the construction of the structural frame for the new St. Jude Hospital.

Although the reconstruction work had been delayed for a little over a month, due to the COVID-19 partial shutdown, after seven months of work the structure is approximately 70 percent complete.

The St. Jude Hospital project currently employs approximately 400 workers. Many of them are employed as steel benders, concrete workers, carpenters, skilled workers, engineers, administration personnel, and security.

The completed hospital will deliver a 90-bed facility that will cater for both inpatient and outpatient services.
