Rehabilitation of East Coast Road

The East Coast Road Rehabilitation Project is scheduled to commence placement of the final layer of the asphalt wearing course within the rehabilitated section.

Delays will be anticipated, with a traffic diversion from La Resource to La Caye resulting in single lane traffic between La Caye and Fond d’Or. Motorists are urged to exercise caution when traversing the work site and to heed associated signs and cautionary devices.

The scope of works includes rehabilitation of the road surface, clearing of drains, reducing verges, and road markings from La Resource to Fond d’Or. Construction and Industrial Equipment Ltd. (CIE Ltd) will execute the road works, financed by the Government of Saint Lucia.
