Rotary Club of Gros Islet Announces New Board for the Rotary year 2023-2024

The Rotary Club of Gros Islet is pleased to announce
the instalment of its new Board for the 2023-2024 term. These dedicated
individuals bring a wealth of experience and a shared passion for community
service, aiming to further the club's mission of making a positive impact in the
local community.
The new Board members who will assume their positions from July 01, 2023, are
as follows:
1. President - Ms. Lenita Joseph
2. Vice President - Ms. Trudy O. Glasgow
3. Immediate Past President – Mr. Ernest Noeline
4. Secretary - Ms. June Daniel
5. Treasurer - Ms. Astrid Mondesir
6. Director of Club Service Committee - Mr. Jason Lang
7. Director of Community Service Committee – Ms. Simone Skinner
8. Director of Membership Committee – Mr. Terrence Elliott
9. Director of the Rotary Foundation Committee - Ms. Astrid Mondesir
10. Director of Public Image Committee – Mrs. Tracy Pilgrim-George
Each of these esteemed individuals brings unique expertise and a deep
commitment to service, fostering the Rotary Club of Gros Islet's mission of
promoting peace, goodwill, and humanitarian aid.
Ms. Lenita Joseph, the newly appointed President, expressed her gratitude for the
opportunity to lead the club in the coming year. She stated that this Rotary year’s
theme “Creating Hope in the World” is a clarion call to rebuild the social fabric of
our communities in a post pandemic era where many families are still reeling from
the effects of the pandemic, further exacerbated by wars and natural disasters.
The Rotary Club of Gros Islet is a dynamic and diverse group of professionals and
community leaders who are committed to transforming lives and improving the
well-being of individuals in Gros Islet and beyond. Through various service

projects, donations and vocational training programs, the club aims to make a
sustainable difference in areas such as education, healthcare, and environmental
conservation.
The newly installed Board Members will collaborate with the club's dedicated
membership to plan and execute a range of impactful initiatives throughout the
year. By leveraging their collective skills and experiences, the Rotary Club of Gros
Islet is poised to amplify its efforts and contribute significantly to the betterment of
the community.
