Royal Saint Lucia Police Force Investigates Ravine Poisson Homicide

On Saturday, January 6, 2024, about 9:45 p.m., the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) in Castries, received a report of a shooting at Ravine Poisson, Castries.

On arrival at the scene, the officers discovered an unresponsive male, who had sustained multiple apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene by a medical practitioner. The victim has been identified as twenty-four-year-old (24) Omar Francis of Leslie Land, Castries.
