Royal Saint Lucia Police Force Probes Babonneau Homicide

On Thursday, January, 2024, about 8:55 p.m. the Babonneau Police Station responded to a report of
a shooting at Fond Assau, Babonneau. Police Officers arrived at the scene and found an unresponsive male with apparent gunshot injuries to his body. Emergency Medical Technicians from the Saint Lucia Fire Service attended to the victim and conveyed him to the Owen King European Union (OKEU) Hospital. The victim
succumbed to his injuries, and a medical practitioner later confirmed his death.
The victim has been identified as twenty-three-year-old (23) Dante St. Ange of Girard Cacao,
Babonneau.
