RSLPF Leads Multi-Agency Effort to Clear Overgrown Roadside Foliage for Safer Communities

Overgrown roadside foliage can pose serious risks, including fallen branches obstructing roadways, causing harm, and even damaging property. Additionally, criminals often exploit dense vegetation as cover to aid in committing crimes.
To address these concerns, the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) has partnered with key agencies, including:
• The Saint Lucia Hospitality and Tourism Association
• The Gros-Islet Community Council
• The Saint Lucia Fire Service
• The Ministry of Agriculture
The exercise took place over two days: March 7, 2025, and Thursday, March 20, 2025. Safer streets and roadways contribute to a safer Saint Lucia.
