Saint Lucia Amateur Boxing Association is organizing the OECS Boxing Championships

The Saint Lucia Amateur Boxing Association (SLBA) is organizing the OECS Boxing Championships from July 26-28 at the Vigie Multi-Purpose Sports Complex. The official announcement took place during a press conference at the OECS Headquarters in Morne Fortune, attended by key figures including OECS Director General Dr. Didicus Jules, SLBA President David Christopher, and members of the media.
SLBA President David “Shakes” Christopher mentioned that they are in talks with the 11 member states of the OECS, Puerto Rico, and the French-speaking islands of Martinique and Guadeloupe to participate in the upcoming championship. Plans for Road Shows and activities at various gyms are underway to raise awareness. The championship will cost SLBA over EC$200,000, and Corporate Saint Lucia's support is being urged to make the 2024 event a success.
