Saint Lucia at Salon du Voyage et des Vacances 2025: A Taste of Paradise!

The bustling halls of the Madiana Convention Center in Schœlcher, Martinique buzzed with excitement as travel enthusiasts and industry professionals gathered for the 25th edition of the Salon du Voyage et des Vacances, from April 4th – 6th 2025. Among the many exhibitors, the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA) stood out, offering visitors an immersive experience of the island's charm and allure.

Annie Lefroy, Melvina Servais and Imani Gaspard, representing the SLTA, stood proudly at their booth, ready to showcase Saint Lucia’s breathtaking landscapes, rich culture, and world-class events. Alongside them were representatives from Bay Gardens Hotels, Alizée Inn, and Pitons Travel, all eager to connect with potential travelers. Visitors were greeted with warm smiles, the aroma of freshly prepared bakes and green fig salad, and tastings of Saint Lucia’s finest rums—Bounty, Chairman’s Reserve, and Admiral Rodney—offered by Cedric Jean-Marie.

Beyond the culinary delights, the SLTA’s booth highlighted upcoming events like the Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival and Lucian Carnival 2025. Thousands of flyers were distributed, and QR codes enabled instant access to travel packages, carnival bands, and festival tickets. Over 600 visitors participated in a raffle for a two-night stay at Bay Gardens Hotels. Networking with travel agencies, airlines, and media representatives paved the way for future collaborations, with a prime-time feature on Martinique 1ère amplifying Saint Lucia’s visibility.

As the event concluded, the SLTA team left inspired, knowing they had not just marketed a destination but shared an experience that would entice visitors to Saint Lucia.
