Saint Lucia Places Fourth in 32nd OECS Swimming Championships; Wins High Point Awards in Three Categories

Saint Lucia's thirty-four-member swim team had to settle for fourth place at the recently concluded 32nd Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Swimming Championships, held in Saint Vincent & the Grenadines from November 8 to 10, 2024.
Team Saint Lucia accumulated 1071 50 points. High Point, Individual awards Saint Lucia captured the Boys 8-9, Miles Andrew, 1st place, 60 points. Girls 9-10, 1st place -Sapphire Parks, 72 points, and Girls 13-14, 1st place – Fayth Jeffrey, 82.50 points.
Meanwhile, Antigua and Barbuda captured their third consecutive title with 1419 points, showcasing impressive skill and determination.
Second place went to Grenada with 1301.50 points, and host Saint Vincent and the Grenadines came in third with 1102 points, their best finish at the championship.
To round off the final four places, Saint Kitts and Nevis, 5th with 135 points, Sint Maarten 6th with 128 points, the British Virgin Islands with 37 points, and first-timers, Anguilla at the seller position with 2 points.
