NY Post - Kevin Durant may not be ready to hit the court any time soon, but the Barclays Center roared for another super-sized star on Wednesday.

Samsung on Wednesday unveiled a new gargantuan 6.8 inch phone at the Brooklyn arena, along with a slew of other devices.

In its second straight year of unveiling devices at the Brooklyn arena, the Korean gadget-maker said the Galaxy Note 10 will come in two sizes for the first time. In addition to the standard 6.3 inch display it added a new 6.8 inch form factor.

The iPhone XS Max, for comparison, has a 6.5 inch display.

The large display, which Samsung says has “virtually no bezels,” also sees the camera cutout shift from the top right corner of the screen to the center, and comes with a fingerprint sensor built-in under the glass.

Along with its enormous body, the Note 10 now boasts four cameras including a “DepthVision” camera which specializes in capturing depth of field for augmented reality. DepthVision will allow users to create 3D scans of objects that can later be recreated using a 3D printer.

Samsung has also opted to kill the 3.5mm headphone jack in its new flagship — but will include a dongle adapter in the box.

Samsung has packed new functionality into the Note 10’s stylus, with users now able to remotely control several features, such as the camera app and YouTube, using the motion sensors in the stylus.

The king-sized phone comes with a king-sized price tag, however, with the Note 10 Plus starting at $1,099 while its little brother is priced at $949. They will be released on Aug. 23.

A third, 5G-enablesversion of the Note 10 Plus will also be available for an eye-watering $1,299.

The gadget-maker also announced the prices of Teo devices that it unveiled earlier this week, the Galaxy Tab S6 and the Galaxy Watch Active 2.

The iPad rival will start at $649 and hit stores Aug. 23, while it’s smartwatch will be relieved Sep. 13.

Samsung also surprised by announcing a new laptop, the Galaxy Book S. Starting at $999, the laptop comes with a 13-inch touchscreen and has its very own wireless connection to work on-the-go.
