School Security Officers complete Basic Security Training

School security officers are now better equipped with the skills and knowledge to maintain security and enforce regulations at schools around the island.
The first batch of school security officers were awarded for their participation in a two-week basic security training programme, at a ceremony at the Royal St. Lucia Police Force Academy.
Twenty-five security officers were granted the opportunity to participate in the basic security training course. It is expected a second batch will undertake the same training shortly.
