Second Independence Dialogue Session to Discuss “The Role of Culture in the Struggle for Independence”

Ms. Rhyesa Joseph, Executive Director of the Monsignor Patrick Anthony Folk Research Center, will be the presenter at the second installment of the Independence Dialogue Tuesdays series, which will focus on the instrumental role culture played in securing Saint Lucia’s independence.
The series is hosted by the Consulate General of Saint Lucia in New York, as part of its activities to commemorate Saint Lucia's 44th anniversary of independence.
The Consulate General wishes to inform the general public that this week’s presentation has been moved to Wednesday, February 15, due to Valentine's Day celebrations.
A graduate of the University of the West Indies, Ms. Joseph works as an educator, and is an activist devoted to youth, cultural and national development. Her presentation, which is open to the public who are invited to engage and participate, will begin at 7:00 pm EST (8:00 pm AST (Saint Lucia) via the Zoom platform.
