Several hospitalized after accident in Barre De L’Isle

Emergency officials from the SLFS Headquarters in Castries and the Babonneau, Dennery, and Micoud fire stations responded to a accident which occurred in Barre De L’Isle on Thursday morning at about 10:21 am.

According to reports, a truck veered off the road and ended up in the drain. Eight individuals sustained injuries.

The fire service headquarters transported six victims to the OKEU Hospital, while Micoud fire station transported two to the Dennery Hospital.

Several videos were posted on social media showing the accident scene.
