Several injured after brake failure

The emergency officials responded to an accident which occurred in Casties at about 9:30 am on Sunday morning.

According to reports, a minibus was coming down Barnard Hill when the brakes failed. As a result of the failure, the minibus hit another vehicle and then hit a pedestrian after which it slammed into a wall.

The minibus driver and his passenger along with the pedestrian were transported to the OKEU hospital. The pedestrian sustained serious injuries.
