Shooting:One dead, and 4 injured including a child in injured in Castries

One man is dead and four people, including a child, were injured Tuesday afternoon near Peynier Street, Castries, a senior law enforcement official has confirmed.
The deceased, is known to the police.
The incident occurred about 4:00 PM, according to reports.
Police officers who were on patrol shot the gunman.
He is said to have been wounded in the leg.
According to reports, at about 16 shots were fired by the gunman.
