Six Hospitalized After Head-On Collision in La Caye, Dennery

On Monday evening, emergency personnel from the Dennery and Micoud Fire Stations responded to a severe head-on collision between two vehicles at La Caye, Dennery. The incident occurred at approximately 7:45 pm.

Upon arrival, the emergency responders extricated one individual from a vehicle. According to Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) spokeswoman Stacy Joseph, the individual sustained several fractures to one of his legs.

In total, six people were transported to the Dennery Hospital. Joseph reported that the emergency crews also transported five other individuals involved in the collision. The victims sustained a variety of injuries but were all in stable condition.

The circumstances surrounding the collision are currently under investigation. Authorities are urging motorists to exercise caution on the roads to prevent such incidents.
