SLSO Monchy United in the hunt for first win in NLA Spider Cup

The National Lotteries Authority sponsored Spider Cup and organized by the Gros Islet Football League was officially launched with the staging of two matches on Sunday 3rd November 2019 at the Gros Islet Playing Field.
In the first match played Monchy United FC sponsored by Saint Lucia Sports Online were held by Twist Dominators FC in a 2 – 2 draw.
Goals for Dominators were registered by Lyndon St. Juste in the 32nd minute and Kwan Charlery in the 48th minute.
Everton Lambert in the 52nd minute and Kenwin McPhee in the 59th minutes scored for SLSO Monchy.
Game Two saw GMC defeating Northern FC 4 – 2. They were led by a brace by Rohan Lambert in the 66th and 68th minute, Kerry Joseph in the 58th minute and Miandad Sidonie in the 87th minute.
Northern got their goals from an own goal by Liam Bonair in the 9th minute and Selwyn Boyce in the 90th minute.
The competition continued on Tuesday 5th November with Northern United making Light work of Valley Soccer 5 – 0.
In the process Ed William registered the tournament’s first hat trick with goals in the 67th 78th and 82nd minute.
The other goals were scored by J. Abraham in the 18th minute and Lenny Alcide in the 75th minute.
