'Smart Kid' granted bail after Police recovered an AK 47 Magazine containing 2 rounds of 7.62 ammunition

On Friday the 21st of April, 2023 about 3:00 am officers of various units of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force conducted operations in the communities of Marc, Cacao, Babonneau, Vigie, and Vieux Fort. The purpose of these operations was to conduct searches at locations within the Central and Southern sectors of the island following an increase in incidents of gun violence.

In light of this, a contingent of officers proceeded to several locations where searches were conducted. During the operation, a total of four (4) Search Warrants were executed, and a total of three (3) individuals were apprehended.

During the execution of a search warrant on the premises of CJ Owen Fevriere, aka “Smart Kid” at Marc, Castries the officers recovered an AK 47 Magazine containing 2 rounds of 7.62 ammunition.

He was subsequently charged for the Possession of Ammunition. On Monday, April 24, 2023, CJ Owen Fevriere of Marc, was taken before the First District Court in Castries, where he was granted bail in the sum of fourteen thousand (14,000) dollars cash or suitable surety and other court conditions.
