On March 6, 2025, the Caribbean Drag Racing Championship (CDRC) welcomed the St. Lucia Drag Racing Team (SLDRT) to its competitive lineup. The SLDRT joins teams from Barbados, Grenada, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, and Jamaica.
Supported by the St. Lucia Ministry of Youth Development and Sports, SLDRT's registration allows the island's top drag racers to compete regionally and aim for qualification for the CDRC Finals in Jamaica in January 2026.
The Ministry of Youth Development and Sports is extremely proud of this accomplishment, as the growth of the Alternative Sports Initiative is something we greatly value.
