St Lucia Fire Service Weekend Incidents

Emergency medical personnel from the Dennery Fire Station
responded to a call on Saturday 10 June at approximately 3:55 a.m. in La
Pointe, Dennery for an individual in distress.
The responding officers found the individual on the scene, appearing to be
in her early thirties, unresponsive, with multiple puncture wounds to her
body. She was immediately transferred to the ambulance where emergency
medical care was given. The patient was transported to a medical facility
with no change in her condition.

Officers at the Gros Islet Fire Station responded to an alleged shooting
incident on Sunday June 11 at approximately 7:50 p.m.
The responding fire personnel found on the scene an unresponsive male
individual with a penetrating wound to his body. The patient was immediately
transferred to the ambulance where he was provided emergency medical care.
He was then transported to a medical facility. The patient’s condition remained
unchanged during transportation.
