St Lucia Rocket Riders Cycling Club cycling tournament in the village of Dennery

On Sunday 8th April The Rocket Riders Cycling Club hosted a cycling tournament in the village of Dennery.
The tournament consisted of 3 events namely a Juvenile 6km race, a 30 km race including an open, juvenile, senior and masters race and the last event being a 400m sprint.
Here are the results as the races took place.
The 6 km Juveniles event was won by Mathew Louis of Dennery Valley with the following results:
1st Mathew Louis Dennery Valley 13mins 25.38 secs
2nd Kayler Joseph Dennery 14 mins 35.48 secs
3rd Shaquan Dovius Dennery 15 mins 18.59 secs
4th Gedeon Louis Dennery Valley 15 mins 15,29 secs
5th Eltus Joseph Dennery 15 mins 36.76 secs
The 15 lap 30 km Open race was won by Andrew Norbert who went away on the second lap finishing alone in 50 minutes 26.53 secs.
3rd Jordan Richard Excellers at 2 mins 47 secs behind
Juniors
1st Hilan Sherkel Aubert Excellers 53 mins 17.85 secs
2nd Jessie Mentor Mon Repos at 04 secs behind
3rd Daniel Laurent Dennery at 9 mins 25 secs behind
Masters
1st Richard Shingleton Smith Project Breakaway 58 mins 54.28 secs
2nd Martin Shortie Dennery at 5 mins 44 secs
3rd Adrian Louis DEnnery Valley at 6 mins 32 secs
The last event was the sprint in the third was Jamal Davie, in second was Jah pie Alphonse and in first was Andrew Norbert.
Being honored at the cycling event was Mr. Elvis Joseph one of dennery's own who has seemingly done a lot when it came to cycling in Dennery and St. Lucia as a whole.
Sponsoring this event were the Dennery Cooperative Credit Union, St. Lucia National Lottery and Co William Association.
