St Lucian Shot dead in Martinique

A man from St Lucia was shot and killed in Martinique on August 21, 2021.

According to sources, the deceased is believed to be a resident of Mabouya Valley Dennery.

According to a news agency in Martinique, the firefighters were called on Saturday evening (August 21, 2021) around 9:15 p.m. following a " gun fight " in the Desmarinières district in Rivière-Salée. 

On their arrival, they rescue three men in their thirties.

Unfortunately, despite the firefighters' attempts, one of the men was declared dead by the samu doctor on the spot. 

The other two, injured, were transferred to Pierre Zobda Quitman hospital in Fort-de-France.

A gendarmerie investigation was opened following this news item. The two hospitalized men were to be heard during the day.
