St Lucians Get Certificates Through Venezuelan School

Press Release:– Last Thursday, a group of participants of the last academic module of the Venezuelan Institute for Culture and Cooperation (IVCC) in Saint Lucia, received their approval certificate of the Spanish language by the authorities of said institute and of the Embassy of Venezuela in Saint Lucia.

With an impeccable staging, which was part of a cultural project highlighting the Latin American culture of Colombia, Cuba, Mexico and Venezuela, the students put into practice the knowledge acquired during their training period of the Spanish language, with a representation of the food , traditions and natural aspects more outstanding of these countries.

In the activity, after the staging of the aforementioned project (which is a fundamental requirement for the approval of the course, since 2016), the final evaluation and respective delivery of certificates was carried out. From this moment, these students can perform different jobs and trades, especially in the tourism sector, making use of this tool of the Spanish language.

In the final phase of the event, the Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Karla Fermín, emphasized, “Venezuela ratifies its solidarity with Saint Lucia, even in the economic scenario limited by the actions of the United States blockade; consolidating through the Venezuelan Institute of Culture and Cooperation, the teaching of the Spanish language. We continue with the commitment that President Chávez taught us and that currently ratifies President Nicolas Maduro Moros, to bring solidarity and knowledge to all the peoples of the Americas. ”

The event was attended by the director of Castries Comprehensive Secondary School, Marva Daniel, the staff and teachers of the IVCC, students and representatives of the Embassy of Venezuela.
