St. Lucia’s Michelle Samuel Recognized for Global Entrepreneurship Excellence, Eligible for 2025 GEN Compass Awards

and MNS Consultancy, has been identified as a top contender for nomination in the 2025 GEN
Compass Awards —a prestigious global recognition celebrating individuals and organizations
that drive entrepreneurial excellence through policymaking, investment, support programs, and
research.
The GEN Compass Awards, hosted by the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), honor those
who are making a tangible impact in helping entrepreneurs start and scale their ventures
worldwide. Winners will be announced at the 2025 Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC),
set to take place from June 2-5, 2025, in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA.
Michelle Samuel is widely known for her dedication to building and strengthening St. Lucia’s
entrepreneurial ecosystem. As a startup specialist, business development consultant, and social
impact advocate, she has spent years fostering innovation, mentorship, and capacity-building for
local entrepreneurs.
Her work through SLUDTERA Inc., a business development and social impact consulting firm,
and MNS Consultancy, which offers business development services for aspiring Entrepreneurs
and startups, has empowered hundreds of entrepreneurs and small businesses across the region.
Michelle has also played a critical role in organizing Startup Huddle St. Lucia, Global
Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), and the Entrepreneurship World Cup St. Lucia, connecting St.
Lucian entrepreneurs with global networks, funding, and training opportunities.
As the GEC 2025 Ambassador for St. Lucia, Michelle is leading efforts to identify and recruit a
10-person delegation to represent the country at the upcoming Global Entrepreneurship
Congress, further solidifying St. Lucia’s presence on the world stage.
